It’s really funny, because sometimes I forget that oh yeah, this is what I want to do with my life. Say what? Because I’ll be honest. Sometimes I still Google, what should I be doing with my life. And then I read articles like these. Which basically talk about how you can…end up where I was 4 years ago. Which is fantastic and awesome. But what happens afterwards? What am I supposed to do now? Is that all there is?
I think that I have realized a few things.
- Life is not all about work. I’ve said it a bunch of times in different ways, but sometimes its hard to understand that, especially when you’re doing the thing you’re super passionate about. And especially when that’s what most people talk about when they say “pursue your passion”.
- Having a job you love (or at least don’t mind) is a pre-requisite to the rest of your life. A pre-requisite to having a fulfilling life, at least in my opinion. Which means that this is just the starting point.
- Now I sort of…need to figure out all the other things I want to do and be in my life.
Le Sigh. And so it goes.
