No really though, I don’t get it. Why is being a size 0 the gold standard for women? Next question- how many people have actually BEEN a size 0? Let me tell you, I used to be a size 0 and it sucked balls. I would never in my life want to go back to my size 0 self. Ever. I remember in high school I seriously thought I could pass for a guy. I was a stick. WHO WANTS TO LOOK LIKE A STICK?! On purpose?! I just don’t get it. And now that I am …I don’t even know, last I checked something between a 6 or 8 or 10. Not really sure, something in there. And I love my body so much more now that I”m packing (fat, lets be clear here). I mean, I feel like a normal human being with curves (what little I have).
I’m just putting it out there. Some people are naturally tiny. Some people are naturally not. And I don’t know why we think one is better than the other.
Because for the record, nobody is paying me to walk down a runway, or act in a movie, or star in a TV show. So until that happens, (and looking like the “perfect human being” is my full time job/how I put food on the table) I don’t know why I need to think about looking like anything I see out there.
I should just focus on being a happy, healthy me (whatever size that may be), and you focus on looking a happy, healthy you (whatever size that may be), and lets call it a day, yeah?
Sweet deal.
